Ice cream #2 - Oberweis
My son had a root beer float. I've tasted better root beer... I had a single scoop of fudge brownie swirl. It was certainly better than Coldstone. Very sweet! Nice flavor I suppose, but still not the thing I'm looking for. Pretty dang expensive too.
One of these days you should come out to Skokie and visit. there is an ice cream shop here that is owned by a Pilipino family and not only is the ice cream delicious, but they have these crazy exotic flavors that are really good, like young coconut (sounds unusual I know but delicious) and Whiskey, my favorite. Imagine a caramel scotch flavor. Sublime.
